Mandala Maker Meets Stamparatas

In Honor of World Cardmaking Day I made some time to craft today. I haven't had a lot of time lately to get into my craft room. I have another passion for photography and this has recently picked up for me. By signing on with Red Rose Studios this has broadened my client base indeed. Have had a lot of fun with this, however editing takes a lot of time when you take anywhere from 800-1500 pictures in one day.
I currently have a wedding to edit and a family session so this will probably be a post among none others. For a little while longer before I can get back into to my craft room for some more fun.
This creation below is made from one of my Newest favorite stamps sets from Gina K. design's. Its called Mandala Maker and it was designed by her daughter Rina K. I purchased this set thru Simon Says Stamps website, but you can also purchase it directly from Gina K. Designs website as well. Pretty sure she has a special going on right now too.

I have always loved StampinUp! products and rarely used anything else. However recently, I really have been inspired by some online creators like Jennifer McGuire, Rina Krupsky, and Kristina Werner to name a few. Mostly watching YouTube videos is where I have come across other products.

I used the Mandala Maker, Wreath Builder Stamp set and Stencil to make this card. The gorgeous bling are the clear Iridescent jewels from Lucy's Cards also purchased form SSS.
I used my StampinUp! products the Stamparatas, some Stampin Pads, Stampin Write Markers, and some cardstock. The colors I used were Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo, and Pineapple Punch.

I hope this card inspires you to get to your creative space and make something beautiful! 😘😍

Picnic Paradise Crossed With One In A Melon

This Alternative to Paper Pumpkin's July 2018 Picnic Paradise kit is so delightful.  I pulled out the stamp set from the June 2017 kit One In A Melon, using the watermelon stamp. The arrangement of the card is pretty much exactly like the designed 3x3 cards from the kit,
except this one being a full size card.

I stamped the watermelon image with Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade inks. I cut an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of Crumb Cake Cardstock in half at 5 1/2". Folding this piece in half makes your base for the card. The next layer is a piece of Whisper White Cardstock cut at 4"x 5 1/4", then I trimmed the Blue Plaid Tissue from the kit to 3 3/4" x 5". Adhere the tissue with some glue dots hiding them behind the Blue squares in the design of the tissue. I then wrapped the white twin around three times and tied a bow. Adhere the apple under the twine with glue then use dimensionals to adhere the rest of the fruit over the twine, also the white sentiment banner. The banner was stamped using the Detailed With Love stamp set from StampinUp! Annual Catalog.

Close up pic here shows the dimension of all the elements. I hope you enjoyed this Paper Pumpkin alternative and thanks for stopping by. 😘

July's Picnic Paradise Paper Pumpkin kit

July's Paper Pumpkin kit is some adorable baskets and so adorable 3" x 3" cards with matching envelopes. These adorable little basket's could hold some cookies or a small gift with the card slide in front. Imagine sending this for any occasion, birthday celebration's, Thinking of you or of course thank you. These are so versatile we could easily turn these into full size cards also, just by adding a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Base.

Stamp set that comes with the kit, my favorite stamp is the stitches. Love adding that with a gel pen sometimes, now I can stamp it!!

All the fixings below and above to make 16 3x3 cards and 4 baskets.

Here are the samples of the original design below, I always make at least one set of the designed kit.

The stitches on the edge are adorable, and the velum plaid paper underneath... so sticken cute!!
That velum plaid paper is a hint of a future product coming in the Christmas catalog I just found out!! 😍

You could even give someone a give of three homemade cards. How fun is that they all fit perfectly in the cute basket!
Hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for stopping by!

Wedding inspired Broadway Star Paper Pumpkin alternative

I already had my alternative class, some ladies came and went. Then I finish up using the product in my kit and of course I come up with these cuties. Ladies everything is from the kit on these ones so you can also make these at home with your left overs!! Both of these could go wedding if you wanted them too, but the first one I think really screams cute summer wedding.

I used the white strips from the kit that were meant for the sentiments. On the right side of this card I used dimensionals to place them all a little less than 1/4" apart. I played around with the placement at first when figuring out what looked best and this is where they landed.

Used dimensionals for the white Banner and the cake. Added the Hooray die cut sticker and some random pearls and that was it, pretty easy.

This one I had already had the envelope cut up so I just trimmed it a little smaller at 4" x 3 1/4". I also had the black and white piece left over from a previous alternative, this piece measures 4"x 2". Placed the Black Marquee piece centered on top of the strip piece with Dimensionals. Hooray sticker on the Marquee and its your day stamped on white strip then trimmed and adhered.
Easy Peasey Lemon squeezy!

Really love how these turned out and I hope you like them as much as I do. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet 16 Meets Broadway Star Paper Pumpkin Alternative

I created this card for my niece, who turns 16 this August!! The Lovely Lipstick color is just positively perfect for a young girls card. Of course the sequence and sparkle along side of the gorgeous color helps a little also! I am so excited now to be able to give her this and celebrate along with her.

Her name is Chloe Michelle and met her about 15 years ago when I first met my husband Brian. After meeting Brian, I met his family the very next day... not kidding! The premise for this fast introduction is, his brother had a baby (my other niece Breanna). We were already attached at the hips, hence why I came along. And Chloe now 16 was only 1 and the cutest little one year old you've ever seen! Here is a picture of her when we babysat them about a month or so after.

Ok back to the card.... I used the gold adhesive backed sequins from the Paper Pumpkin kit and also the Metallic Sequins Assortment to fill the window. As you can tell in the picture I placed the Adhesive backed sequins randomly around the 16. This way when the card isn't being shaken there is still some pretties towards the top of the window.

The base card is made from the Thick Whisper White Cardstock 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" layered with Lovely Lipstick 4" x 5 1/4" piece. The pink layer is ran through the big shot with the Sparkle Textured Embossing Folder. The black and white striped paper from the PP kit was cut to 4" x 3 1/2".

The Window was made from the layering Squares Framelits, the largest die is measured at 3" x 3". Then I just cut with my Paper trimmer 1/4" all the way around the square. Using the Window Sheets and the Foam Adhesive Strips I created the Window underneath the Black Cardstock. Tip: place a little pile of the sequins in the center of the card, then adhere Window on top of card.

Last but not least the part that tells us we are celebrating the number 16.. Hooray!! In my opinion this die cut sticker is the best part of June's Paper Pumpkin kit, and the coolest part of any card it sticks to.

The inside of this card I used the sentiments from the Broadway Birthday stamp set. The little birthday hats are also in this set, they were stamped with the Lovely Lipstick ink.

I had so much fun creating this card for my niece and love that I got to share it with the online world. If there is anything in this blog post that interested you, I use all my products from the StampinUp! product line. Shop my online Store Here to purchase products needed for this project.
